      Growing up, my father always told me that I had a gift within my voice. He said that I could change the world through my speaking, I promised him that I would and that's just what I plan to do. My passion for journalism stems from my father's words and my love for speaking and news.

    With parents of Haitian descent, I grew up in West Palm Beach, Florida. Like many immigrants my parents moved to America to provide me with a better life. Watching news daily and reading books was a routine that they set for me, to make sure that along with knowing the creole language, I would also master the English language.
     Everyday my love for journalism continues to grow, as I find stories in everything.
